Kimberlea's parents and sisters are here for a visit from Kansas. They are also having some dental work done at Comfort Dental where Kimberlea works. They wanted to have dinner and a party with everyone. Wade baked a ham and made some scalloped potatoes. I brought rolls. We also had mixed vegetables and dessert. Wade brought a pie from Village Inn and Carolee made a strawberry cheesecake cake. Everything was delicious!
Wade and Kimberlea have a big table, most of us can fit around it. There was lots of talking and laughing.
The Edwards family brought three gingerbread house kits to make at the party. We divided up into groups to make the houses. Leamarie and Britta's kit was a train. Leamarie made the engine, Britta ate the frosting.
Britta was raving about how good the frosting was, so Leamarie decided to have a taste. Silly girls!

Kimberlea, Denya, and Amberlea made this gingerbread village. It had 5 little houses and they also made a yard with Christmas trees and lamp posts. It was adorable!
Team 2 works on their house. It came with a frame to stand the house on, which was nice.
Landon, Megan, Blake, and Ryan display their finished house. They put a lot of details on theirs and used a lot of colors. It turned out so cute!
The Edwards' had brought a bunch of little white elephant gifts to play a game called Robbers Bingo. You go around the circle and each person takes a gift, but doesn't open it. When it is your turn, you can take a gift from the pile or steal one from someone else. There is no limit on how many times a gift can be stolen. You just keep going around the circle until all the gifts are gone. Each person ended up with 3 gifts.
There was a lot of stealing going on!
Bill wants the polka dot present! Carolee wasn't very willing to give it up. The paper was so cute, everyone wanted it. There was also a gift in a blue bag that was popular and it was stolen several times.
The gifts have all been chosen, and now it is time to open them up.
The polka dot gift that everyone wanted was these fruit snacks. Blake was pretty happy he got them.
Kimberlea got play money.
Denya got a frame ornament.
Britta loved this spiderman toothbrush. What a fun night we had! Thanks to the Edwards family for planning a great party!
I just had to take a picture of the stockings hanging on the fireplace. They look great!
