We had the best spring break! Really low key, stayed home, and just enjoyed being together.
The kids played school. Dagny and Calista were the students and they were ready to go with their backpacks.
The stairs was their classroom and they used some stuffies to have some friends as classmates.
Lincoln was the teacher. He used the piano bench as a desk/chair. He let the students do show and tell, read them a book, and told them when it was time for recess. These kids have great imaginations!
The first part of the week we had perfect weather! Not too hot and not chilly. We spent a lot of time outside on the trampoline,
and eating popsicles.
Some pretty high bouncing going on!
Everyone is out of breath, time for a rest.
Making towers.
Time for some bubbles!
Calista got some really big ones!
Dagny got a lot with just one blow! These bubbles are extra good.
Fun on the slide.
Everlee loves the slide. She's a little small/young to jump on the trampoline with the other kids,(they bounce too hard and she falls down), but she doesn't care too much. She goes on the slide over and over again while they jump.
Food just tastes better outside!
Lincoln could live on blueberries and string cheese.
Tuesday these kids were right back on the trampoline.
Bouncing to their hearts content.
It wouldn't be spring break in Colorado without a snow storm. It came on Thursday, so we had 3 good days outside first. And it was only a little bit.
Friday was St. Patrick's Day and these kids came dressed in all their green! A little sad they don't have school to show off their great clothes.
They didn't catch any leprechauns in their traps, but Lincoln told me the leprechauns sprayed silly string all over the bathroom mirror and left them a few gold coins.
Dany had a beautiful braid, she wanted me to take a picture of it.
I sure enjoyed this week with these kiddos!
