New pets for Landon's kids--guinea pigs! Dagny named hers Chloe,
and Lincoln's is Uncle Stripe. They wanted Landon to take pictures to send to me immediately. I was happy they were so excited to show off their pets to me!
In February, Claire went to the temple for the first time with the youth from their ward. I watched the other girls so Austin and Melissa could both go with her. Austin did the baptizing and Melissa was a chaperone. It made so happy, and Claire was so excited to go. It's hard to believe she is old enough to do that now.
Lincoln had some dental surgery in February. He had some teeth pulled and some silver caps put on. I see a lot of holes in that mouth! Hope he can eat okay. I don't think he's going to be biting into any apples for a while. He loves apples!
Silly Dagny was playing with this scarf and wrapped herself all up!
The kids love to take pictures, so sometimes I let them just for fun. Lincoln took this picture of me with two of my favorite girls.
Calista loves to sit on my lap, and I'm all for it! I hope she always likes me this much and wants to hang out with me.
One morning when Wade dropped the girls off, Everlee was wearing this sweater, hat, and gloves. She did not want to take any of it off.
Playing naptime with their babies. These two girls LOVE dolls!
Adrienne told us about this game called Tapple at Thanksgiving. It's a word game and we love word games! I tried to buy it, but it was sold out everywhere. I had forgotten about it, Adrienne found it on line and ordered it for us, and I was surprised when it came in the mail. So sweet of her!! We tried it out one Sunday after dinner. It was fun that Claire and Dagny could play it too. There are categories, like colors, you name one and push the beginning letter down. Keep going until someone can't think of anything. It was really fun!!
Lincoln lost a front tooth! He was very excited! How come kids are so cute when their teeth are missing??
Melissa got some new baby chicks and her girls are in love! They are so little you have to look close to see that Millie is holding one.
Maddie is so gentle with the chick.
Millie folded up the bottom of her shirt and stuck the chick in! A built in carrier! She's so clever.
I didn't take any pictures of our Super Bowl party this year except for this one. The teams are the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Dagny and Lincoln made posters for the Eagles, but they lost 38-35. I wanted to let the kids make little individual pizzas, but they didn't turn out very well and we just ended up making big ones. They were tasty, but not as fun.
Calista had braids for a couple of days and when we took them out, look how wavy her hair is! So beautiful!! And who taught this girl how to pose? She loves to put her hands to the side of her cheek and it's adorable.
One more just because she's too cute!
We had this Shark Attack game when my kids were growing up and they loved it, but it broke or something, I don't know what happened to it. Denya found one at DI and bought it. It's been down the basement because Denya wants us to take good care of it and play it only under supervision so it stays in good shape and the pieces don't get lost. Dagny and Lincoln love it as much as my kids did! So fun to try and save your fish from getting eaten by the shark!
These monkeys got into the crib all by themselves! They pushed the office chair over to stand on and then just crawled over the top.
They did it a few times and I had to get after them and tell them the crib is not a toy or a jungle gym. Look at Calista!! She's such a climb cat! She's not even scared!
One day after school I was upstairs doing something, and when I came back to the kitchen, this is what I saw--foot spas for the girls!! They were so cute and happy to be giving their feet a soak. And look how smart they were to put towels under the bowls so they wouldn't spill any water!
I love everything about this!! Dagny reading to the other kids! She is really good at reading and is about a grade level above. Yay!!
Nothing like a sister!! Snuggled up on the couch watching a show.
We had some warm days in March and were able to play outside. Calista and her doll are inseparable!
