Fun with Dagny

If a Palmer baby is born in December, we have a tradition of putting them in a Christmas stocking. I LOVE this idea, and have been so exicted ever since Landon and Megan told us they were having a baby and it would be born in December. Blake was born on December 6 and I have a picture of him in my Christmas stocking. Dagny was lucky enough to have her own stocking.

Landon and Megan's Christmas present! The best gift they will ever get!

I love this picture! Dagny is awake and Landon is super happy.

Proud Mom with her new baby.

We took all kinds of cute Christmas pictures.

 Precious!

 The happy family.

Grandpa gives Dagny lots of snuggles.

I do know how to cuddle babies. I was trying to hold her in a pose that would show off her cute dress.

Grandma Sarita is here for 3 weeks to welcome Dagny.

Grandpa knitted Dagny's stocking. Lucky girl!

Merry Christmas sweet Dagny! You were so good while we took a ton of pictures.

Christmas 2014

Everyone is lined up and ready to go downstairs to see what Santa brought!

Ryan got pretty excited when he saw his stocking on the recliner. He got a TV!

Britta is getting a letterman's jacket for Christmas. They have to be special ordered and take 6 weeks. Santa's elves weren't aware of that, so she will be getting her jacket next month.

Denya has been doing a lot of hair cutting at BYU. Now she has her own clippers!

Denya is excited to try her hair cutting scissors!

We always get a 1,000 piece puzzle and a game under the tree. Denya checks out this year's puzzle, a Thomas Kincade painting of Beauty and the Beast!

Blake wanted a car for Christmas and he got one! It's rather small....but it is a Car! He also got a camera so he can take lots of pictures when he goes on his mission.

Delwyn's family started the tradition of getting a 2 liter soda in your stocking because they are so big. Ryan is happy with his orange Sunkist.

I got a new robe and it looked so comfy Britta just had to try it on.

A new pair of scissors! Delwyn got a service award from Lockheed Martin about a year ago, a knife block that also had a really nice pair of kitchen shears in it. Blake and his friends were making Halloween costumes and somehow the scissors got lost. I have been very grumpy about it! They were heavy duty and I loved having scissors on the countertop, within easy reach whenever I needed to open something. Now I will have another pair of scissors!

Delwyn got some new tubing! What a bright color!

We had Swedish pancakes for breakfast at Wade's. It takes two cooks to keep up with this tribe. We had lots of yummy fillings, nutella, syrup, lots of jams, and whip cream.

We took all the presents over to Wade's so Landon and Megan could be with us. Dagny is only 4 days old, and we don't want her out in the Colorado cold quite yet. There are lots of presents!

The girls sorted the gifts and each person has their pile.

Let the opening begin! It was fun to have Megan's mom, Sarita, with us as well. We started with the oldest this year and went down the line.

Wade had this mask from Village Inn. Delwyn the joker had to try it on. Pretty scary!

Delwyn got this rubber chicken from Britta.

A new camera so they can take lots of pictures of Dagny!

A see a lot of repairing and building in Wade's future.

A new water cup!

Denya gave Britta this scrapbooking kit. It has some cute paper and lots of fun stickers.

Looks like Kimberlea will be doing some cleaning!

Kimberlea made this message board for Britta. It is so cute!!

Delwyn got a Kindle fire. Not sure he will be doing a lot of reading on it, but they make great little computers! Merry Christmas everyone!

Dagny Comes Home

Dagny came home from the hospital today. It was so fun to see her dressed in clothes instead of wearing the hospital tee-shirt and blankets. If she knew she had such a welcoming committee waiting, she might have come a few days sooner!

Landon and Megan got a free mini bundt cake from the hospital. They gave it to Blake and Britta. Blake thinks it is as precious as Dagny and cradled it his arms.

All the kids finally got a chance to hold her. Blake has such big hands, she practically fit into his palm!

Aunt Britta is already volunteering to babysit!

Ryan has decided that being an uncle is pretty fun. I think Claire liked him the most when they were here for Thanksgiving. I guess she knows he is still a kid and is closest to her age.

He holds her like an old pro!

And of course Denya just can't get enough of her!

I am in heaven. Sure love this baby!

Dagny in the Hospital

Denya and I went to the hospital Monday afternoon, and Delwyn met us there. The other kids couldn't forget about the long wait yesterday, and since Landon and Megan will be coming home tomorrow, they passed on going to the hospital today. Dagny was wearing a cute blue hat today.

We took off her hat to get a good look at her hair. It is dark brown with some blonde mixed in.

She has quite a bit of hair. She is so precious!

The back view of her hair.

New babies make a lot of faces. It makes you wonder what they are thinking.

 The new family!

Grandpa finally gets a chance to hold Dagny.

We are so happy about our third granddaughter!

Aunt Denya finally gets a chance to love on Dagny.
