Palmer Reunion Labor Day 2014

It's Palmer reunion time! Britta and Ryan were both so excited and could hardly wait to get there. Blake had to stay home and lifeguard. This is the last weekend the pool is open and it will be busy!Usually a family is assigned to help cook each meal. Keri plans the menus and buy all the food.
This year the teenagers were assigned breakfast on the first day. They had a lot of fun cooking together and it was delicious!

We had french toast coated with Honey Bunches of Oats cereal and caramel sauce! So yummy! Jenna and Aubree did a great job of coating the bread. Even though they aren't teenagers, they wanted in on the fun.

Whitney and Jacee are the cereal cruncher-uppers!

Gotta have sausage links!

Now that is a loaded trampoline! The kids really enjoy playing together.

Somehow, Britta managed to win Ryker's heart the first night. I heard someone ask him who his best friend was and he said, "Britta!" Yesterday he probably wouldn't have remembered who she was. Maybe it was all that jumping on the trampoline together.

Aunt Maureen with another of her colorful quilts. They wanted to finish it for the raffle, so they set up the quilting frames on the lawn so people could help get it tied.

Britnee brought safety pin bracelets for a craft.

So many choices of beads! The girls loved their bracelets.

Everyone loves the projects.

The results of the bracelet making project.

The boys love the paracord bracelets

I don't think someone got enough sleep in the camper. What a nice big brother!

Ryan had fun playing with Mel and her Canine Cannon - ball launcher. It shoots tennis balls and the dog runs after them and brings them back.

Keri always has a great menu planned. Such a yummy dessert! Thanks so much for doing this again.

Cindy's replacement tormenting Aunt Heather.

In honor of the Swedish heritage and Grandma Palmer--
Swedish Pancakes! It's a tradition to have these for one of the breakfasts.  Lynae's girls have it down when it comes to cooking them.

Teaching the younger generations also.

Looking good in the warm hat! Asher is such a happy baby and would let anyone hold him.

Sisters, can you guess? Bryan's girls.  Aleah is three and Alyssa just turned a year old. She was so fun to hold and play with. I love those brown eyes!

Cameron wanted to help with the scones. He stretched the dough into shape the entire time they were being cooked. Maybe he will grow up to be a chef!

Scones are another tradition.

Dalen is excited to eat that scone!

Just sitting around, sharing good stories.
.

Cousins. Ryan and Carson always pick up like they just saw each other yesterday instead of a whole year! They get along so well.

Dog pile on Britta!

Riding motorcycles is always a highlight that Ryan looks forward to.

The girls get in on the motorcycling too.

Britta, Trevyn, and Kyler are the Three Musketeers! They were practically inseparable.

Don't try this Britta!

Off for another ride.
