Coloring Eggs

It has become our tradition to color eggs for Easter with Landon's family.

I told Dagny a couple of days ago that it was Easter time and we were going to color eggs. She remembered how to do it and of course her first egg was pink!

She is becoming a good artist and made a face on her egg complete with long hair.

Lincoln was so patient and let his egg sit in the color for many minutes.

He was quite proud of the way it turned out. And he should be! Megan helped him make a zigzag pattern.

In honor of COVID-19, Ryan made an egg with a face mask.

It gave us all a good laugh.

Delwyn started drawing on the paper covering the table. It reminded Landon of when Delwyn would draw for them during Sacrament meeting when they were kids. He drew mostly animals for them and one of his favorite things to draw is a horse. Probably because of all those farm memories.

So then Lincoln wanted a horse on an egg. And just by coincidence it became a Denver Bronco! We didn't realize until the egg was done that Dewlyn had used orange to draw the horse and then Lincoln chose blue for the color. Perfect!!

The happy coloring crew!

One more picture of Lincoln just because he is so cute!

We had plenty of eggs, so Landon and Megan decided to color some too. You're never too old to color eggs!

Some of our favorites. Check out the two cats. Lincoln's favorite animal right now is a cat and after the horse, he insisted on having a cat. Landon ordered pizza for all of us for lunch and it turned into a real party!
