Austin and Melissa realized if they changed their flight and extended their stay for 2 days, they would be here for Lincoln's blessing! It all worked out--yay! We wanted to do something fun and Delwyn suggested Belleview Park and the train. Camille was a little hesitant, I'm not sure why.
I am thankful for grandkids! They bring so much joy into our lives.
Aunt Denya takes advantage of an opportunity to give Lincoln some love!
Time to ride the train!
The train goes on a short ride around the park, down by a small river, and then through a tunnel.
We rode three times. Ryan wanted to try out the last seat.
Claire and Aunt Denya had a fun ride together.
The grown ups had just as much fun as the kids!
Melissa and Denya gave the girls a piggyback ride over to the playground.
Claire is quite the little monkey and loved to climb on these stairs.
The big kids decided to try the monkey bars. Melissa made it all the way over!
The boys weren't about to be shown up by Melissa, so they were next.
It's harder than it looks, it takes a lot of upper body strength.
Landon is next.
Grandpa and Lincoln were pals under the pavilion while the rest of us were on the playground. It was nice to have a few hours together as a family and just enjoy being together after such a hard week.
