Britta and Kade are here to babysit the 5 Wheeler kids while Marc and Kim go out of town for a business related trip. They came a few day early so they could spend some time with us first since they were at the Lever's for Christmas. Kade will fly back on Sunday to start the semester, Britta is going to miss the first couple of days of school
Austin and Melissa's kids were back in school on January 3, so they didn't get to see Britta and Kade. Melissa came over one day with Maddie and Emma, and Maddie made sure to give Kade all the love. Uncle Kade is her favorite!
In fact, all the kids love Kade! He laid on the couch and they all decided it was dog
pile time!
He is such a good sport to put up with their constant attention. And he's always so much fun to be around, how could they not just love him to pieces??
He told them it was nap time, so they all closed their eyes mighty quickly, except for Calista. She probably thought she might miss something if she closed her eyes.
Britta and Kade made us some yummy treats with crackers
and caramel.
Lincoln did this 100 piece puzzle all by himself!! His first time doing one this big.
Lots of game playing.
One day Kade and Lincoln were both wearing Pikachu shirts and Lincoln thought it was the coolest thing! He wanted me to take a picture of them.
Then of course the girls wanted to be in a picture with Kade too.
Then it was a time for a girl's picture.
It was a day for matching--Britta and Dagny both had braids! You just can't see them in the picture.
Britta and I worked on our planners together. It was fun to see how she had hers organized and it gave me some ideas for things I want to include in mine.
The older Wheeler kids were in school, and Britta came over a couple of times with Grace, so we had some time together to visit. I'm so thankful I got this extra time with Britta and Kade!
