Denya's Birthday

Denya wanted to go to a batting cage for her birthday,

so Britta and Kade came to South Jordan for the weekend, met up with her, and took her.

They were so good to send me some pictures. So excited to get some hits!

Hey batter, batter, swing!

Britta's turn!

Smack that ball, Kade!

Then they went to Taylorsville Days to watch Kade's Uncle Nate play in his band. It's like a carnival and there were some rides.

Denya and Kade went on this one. Too high for me. Haha.

When you have a sister, you always have a friend! I'm so glad Britta and Kade could help Denya celebrate her birthday. After this, they went to the Lever's and swam in their pool. Then Denya was off with her friends to get dinner at a Vietnamese place called Mei la cai, followed by games at Denya's place. It was full day of celebrating and I'm sure Denya had a ton of fun. We gave her an electric pump for her paddleboard. She was surprised and I was happy about that because it's hard to surprise her these days.

I am so proud of her! She has made a good life for herself, has a job at BYU Alumni Magazine that pays wells, and she is very good at writing and editing. She has received many compliments from people above her. She has a TON of friends, lives in a cute house, and is the chorister in her ward. She is a good listener, she is dependable, cares deeply about others, and she is a very fun aunt! Happy Birthday dear Denya! Twenty-nine and feeling fine!
