Grandpa and his girls! He makes a pretty good couch!
Maddie loves to sit on the fire engine. Her feet aren't quite long enough to reach the ground, and so Melissa pushes her around. She smiles and smiles and thinks she is quite grown up!
One day Dagny was playing with the Potato Heads like they were dolls. She was making dinner for them.
She cooked all kinds of yummy food, chicken, rolls, and cake. Then she fed each one of them.
Time for bed, Potato Heads! She tucked them in so carefully.
Sound asleep! Good night!
Dagny is the patient. Her checks her ears
and then tells her to open wide and say "Ahhh." His diagnosis: she is quite sick and needs some medicine.
Maddie started walking when she around 9 months old. Austin's kids are petite and wiry and have strong muscles. All the girls walked quite early. They are taking a family vacation to Grand Junction for the Peach Festival and Maddie is getting her first pair of shoes! So exciting!
Claire and Camille had a lemonade stand! They are quite the little entrepreneurs! Austin posted this picture on Facebook. If I would have known about this, you can be sure I would have driven out and been their best customer! Next time I hope they let me know! Austin said they gave away most of their lemonade to the neighbors, so it wasn't super profitable, but aren't they just the cutest little sellers you ever saw?
Claire started First Grade on August 23! She is getting so grown up! They have all day Kindergarten in Elizabeth, so she is already a pro at taking her lunch and staying at school all day.
She proudly shows off her new backpack.
Claire likes to learn and is a good student. She is already reading and I know she will have a great year.
We now have a Hobby Lobby in town! Yay! We went one day to check it out and Dagny was so excited to see this Santa. Don't ask me why Santa is for sale in August, it's rather early in my opinion, but Dagny was sure excited and had to give him a big hug.

For cute!
