Ryan wanted to ask Claire Thompson to Mormon Prom. One day at seminary he heard two boys talking and they both wanted to ask her as well, so he decided to move fast. Ryan wanted to do a swimming theme poster since he is a swimmer and Claire swam on the DC girls team in January for the first time.
He wanted to buy a stuffed animal Nemo, but they didn't have any at Wal-Mart. On his way out, he saw a plastic squeaky one in the claw machine and decided to try and get it. It costs fifty cents to try and he only had a dollar bill, so he used that and he got it on the first try!! He's never got what he wanted out of there before, and now, Boom! First time and it's his! He felt like Blake helped him because he wanted Ryan to have a good date for MoPo. And Blake LOVED those claw machines! Every time he left Wal-Mart, he would use his quarters on that machine. He got something almost every time. Sweet story! That touched my heart and totally sounds like something Blake would do to help his brother.
Ryan went to Young Men's a few minutes early to ask her. She said YES!!!
We went to the MAC to take pictures. It is always a challenge to get those boutonnieres pinned on!
This is a beautiful place, but there isn't much shade and it was quite sunny and bright. Claire's dress was so pretty!
Cute smiles!
The boys!! So handsome! Christian Townsend, Ryan, Zack Atkinson,Tyler Olsen, Brendan Thorpe, and Will Van Leuven.
Me and my boy!!
For years, socks for men (especially dress socks) were solid black, navy or brown. But fun socks are now popular, so the boys wanted to show off what they were wearing. Ryan has several pairs of printed socks, but he was wearing black tonight.
What a cute couple!
A fun night ahead for this group of great kids!

A lot of squinty smiles thanks to the Colorado sun! At least it's not raining or snowing, right?

They went to dinner at Cranelli's, an Italian restaurant. Ryan had alfredo and said it was really good!
Happy dancing!!
