On Fridays, Melissa meets us at the library for story time. After that, there is a play area with a lego table, kitchen, puppet theater, and a barn with some animals that the kids like to play with, so we do that for a bit. Then Melissa and the girls come over for lunch and to spend the afternoon. Today we set up the pool in the backyard.
The kids had so much fun splashing and jumping.
Claire takes a break to warm up (she said the water was cold, but no one else seemed to think so) and soak up some sun.
Maddie joins in the fun too!
She loved every minute! And good thing since she was born into a family of water loving swimmers!
The kids wanted to put the slide in the pool, but the slide is a little bit too big (I think) and the bottom kept popping up.
So they made up a game. They would go down the slide and then run over to the pool and jump in. It was so fun to watch them!
When we came inside Delwyn set up Thomas for the kids to ride. Claire is so sweet with Maddie and wants her to have the same fun that the bigger kids do.

Lincoln has the cutest wave! He holds his fingers straight out and bends his wrist back and forth. He loves to wave and say "Bye bye!"
He kept waving all the way around the track. He's adorable!
Dagny's turn! Delwyn sets a timer on his phone and each grandkid gets 2 minutes and then it's time to switch. What a fun afternoon! Love these grandkids! So glad they all live close and we can see them often!
