Mr. Lloyd asked Britta to play a duet with Mrs. Pease, the pianist for the choir, for one of the Belle's songs. It was called Ton The`, a tradional French song. He didn't give her much notice, and she had to practice and practice. But she learned it and it was beautiful! I was so proud of her!
The Singers are the top choir and you have to audition to get in. It has really grown! There are 23 girls and 16 boys. Back when Wade and Landon were in Singers there was only 6 girls and 6 boys. The whole choir is bigger this year.
It's fun that Britta gets to stand next to Leah Dowdy, one of her good friends.
Britta has been the choir president for the girls in Singers this year. She has taken choir all four of her high school years and it has been one of her favorite classes. I'm so glad my kids like music!
We got Britta some flowers because we are so proud of her--singing and also playing the piano!
