Claire Comes to Visit and Brings Her Parents

Austin, Melissa, and Claire arrived in Colorado on Friday, Nov. 18.  They are staying for ten days--Hooray!!  This will be a super Thanksgivng. 

After church we just had to take some pictures.  Claire is so cute is this dress!  It was really fun to show her off to all my friends at church.  She smiled and was happy and everyone thought she was adorable, which of course, she is!

Britta loves Claire!  After church, she took Claire into Young Women's to show her off to all the girls and leaders. 

Claire loves to play patty-cake.  She smiles and laughs and loves every minute of it.

Claire enjoys music.  Her parents say it calms her down when she is fusy.  I hope that one day she can play the piano as well as her parents do.  Melissa is pretty talented to hold Claire and play at the same time.

We spent a lot of time playing games.  Rook is one of Austin and Ryan's favorites.  Austin likes to bid high and takes lot of chances. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't.  He was hoping Claire would be a good lock charm as he seemed to be off his game this trip and didn't win much.  Claire is watching his cards pretty intently.  I like to think Grandpa Taylor smiles down on us when we play.  This was his favorite game and we always had to have a game whenever he came to visit.

Claire has such big eyes.  She is happy to just look around at everything.

We wonder what color her hair will be.  I thought for sure she would be a blonde, but it looks like it has some color to it.  Claire loves to be held over the arm like a football.  We wondered if she likes to look down, or maybe the pulse in our arm feels good on her stomach.  Whenever she cries, if she gets put in this position, she immediately stops.  She especially likes Austin to hold her like this.  I swear she likes his arm best of all!  Silly baby.

Austin and Claire are both wearing purple stripes.  Claire has several headbands--they are all so cute.  Yay for baby girls with ribbons, lace, and flowers!

I took advantage of holding Claire every minute I could.

 Denya and Claire finally got to meet each other.  Denya has been so excited to see Claire and play with her.  She is a lucky baby to have so many people who love her!
